Dear Friends and Story-seekers,
Welcome to this third edition. How are you today? Please let us know.
Every frame tells a story—and every story deserves a place to breathe, unfold, and resonate beyond the moment. At Fields of Plenty Pictures, we’ve chosen to use another space to bring stories into the light: our blog.
In the last few months, we’ve had the privilege of connecting with Jim and Melodie Graham, a remarkable couple whose journey of shock, truth seeking, and resilience has deeply moved us. Jim’s story—told with honesty and courage—invites readers to confront the hidden parts of the past and to find the purpose buried beneath the pain.
You can find more about Jim’s story in our latest (guest) blog post toward the end of this letter. And if you missed our last newsletter, you can also learn where to purchase his powerful book there as well. Check out our “Good News” for more ways we’re collaborating with Jim.
Were you moved by (Mom) Leslie Doctor's Healing Through Grief interview (episode 1)? Be sure to also check out her guest blog as to why she felt the need to talk about her sister's life, 15 years after she passed, and what the experience was like for her.

We’re actively seeking partnerships to expand our project as well. Do you represent a community with stories of grief and healing to share? We’d love to hear from you too.
GOOD NEWS
- “Healing Your Story Through Grief”, the free online event we held Oct. 5th with Chaplain Candi Wuhrman, was an intimate, fruitful gathering. Testimonial: “Thank you all for supporting my journey through my grief. It has been an honor to share this spiritual space with you.“ - Jeanette G.
- Book promo client: Jim Graham is now our first official book promotion client. We’re excited to help Jim spread the word about his remarkable memoir. And we are honored to also begin laying the groundwork for a book adaption to a limited series or film. This partnership is rooted in our shared passion for stories that inspire, challenge, and transform.
FAVORITE THINGS
Here is our growing list of recommendations for movies, books & other things we like…
- Movie rec: Lion, based on the true story of Saroo Brierly’s quest to recover lost pieces of his past. Read more of our thoughts about the movie here, and let us know what you think! If you’ve seen the movie, what’s one thing you took away from watching it–or reading the book it’s based on?
- Book rec: Atomic Habits. It’s more than a book about building good habits–it’s also about breaking bad ones. Read more about what Asher got from the book/audiobook here. And let us know what one habit you want to break or finally start.
BLOG
We started a blog to share updates and reflections from our own journeys. But also to help you, members of our community, open up and tell your story.
Want to share from your heart with our community? Let us know! Check out our latest blogs--both guest articles penned by members of our community.
